Waffle Weave Bath Towel White
These high-quality, pure, natural cotton European style waffle weave bath towels are highly absorbent, quick drying and the perfect size for the bathroom and beyond.
While our Waffle Weave towels are not plush like a terry towel, they do get softer with every use. Bath towels come in hydrogen peroxide bleached white, cream, taupe or grey.
We're koo-koo for these waffle weave towels.
While generous in size (32" x 62") they dry quite fast and are a great choice for bathrooms with poor ventilation ( 90% based on our experience!). They make great travel towels, beach towels and even poolside towels!
What makes this a natural cotton bath towel?
Our waffle weave towels are made from cotton grown on family farms in Pakistan that is free of defoliants (the chemical used to make it easier to harvest the cotton boll from the plant), dyes, and synthetic chemicals. These are family farms the manufacturer has worked with for 15 years - they are commited to providing the best cotton they can grow.
Many folks have asked why isn't the cotton organic?
To be certified organic means a farmer has met strict requirements for growing, and that a certifying authority has overseen and approved the process. In Pakistan, there is no certifying authority and so our cotton cannot be 'certified organic'.
The white color of the waffle weave bath towel is achieved through the use of Hydrogen Peroxide
- a much safer choice than chlorine bleach which damages the environment through its creation of dioxins as a by-product of manufacturing. Dioxin accumulates in the fatty tissue of humans and wildlife and is known to cause birth defects, genetic mutations and is a suspected carcinogen (cancer -causing).
Hydrogen Peroxide does not create dioxins and has been used for years by both parents and doctors to sterilize wounds and instruments and it has been approved as a natural bleaching agent in Europe.
What about the other colors? All are made using low-impact dyes which is good for you and the planet.
