Water won't spray through this cotton shower curtain - even without a plastic liner.

The cotton fabric shower curtain helps prevent water spraying out of your shower without a plastic liner. This keeps unnatural plastics out of our landfills. This shower curtain will get wet, but will not spray through. And the cotton shower curtain will air dry nicely (with proper ventilation). That air drying helps prevent mold growth associated with plastic liners.

Our cotton fabric shower curtain is hand-crafted here in the USA.

And this shower curtain is made of durable and beautiful 7 oz. cotton duck fabric. The white color is bleached in environmentally friendly hydrogen peroxide, with rustproof nickel plated brass grommets. The cotton shower curtain's natural cotton duck fabric is not organically grown but is processed without chlorine bleach, dyes and finishes normally used in the cotton fabric industry.

The cotton shower curtain may help resist mildew and mold by drying quickly.

After showering simply spread the curtain out so air can dry it, and try not to leave it gathered at one end of the tub. Be sure that your bathroom has good ventilation to ensure proper drying.

This curtain won't billow towards the shower spray like lightweight plastic liners do.

Your cotton shower curtain will need to be washed - perhaps weekly if used daily. When washing the shower curtain, set washing machine to gentle and cold and hang to dry to minimize shrinkage. The hotter the water, the more it will shrink. Drying in a machine is not recommended, as this could lead to excess shrinkage. If you are going to use a dryer, set it on low heat and leave in for a very short period of time before hang drying it.

Great shower curtain! I have had mine for over a month and I am still excited by the fact I dont have an ugly plastic curtain collecting soap residue and eventually mold and mildew. I washed mine recently after 4+ weeks of using it. As suggested, I just hung it back up wet (how easy is that?) and it looks great (bright white and no wrinkles) and that is amazing to me! What a concept! I would have never thought it was possible to have a cotton shower liner/curtain. It really does keep the water in. It dries a couple of hours and always looks fresh. This is truly an amazing thing. I've had my cotton shower curtain for over 4 years now and it's still in perfect condition... no mold or mildew, no rips or tears . . . okay - so it's a little shorter. but it stretches after the next shower! I live in a low humidity environment and I wash and dry mine about once a month. We have good ventilation as well. But when our bathroom had zero ventilation we washed it every couple of weeks and that worked out great! I love my shower curtain even when we have multiple showerers a day - never had a problem.

This cotton duck shower curtain is a splendid item. Im very happy with it. Many people say that they want to simplify their lives. Well, this is a good small place to start. The curtain eliminates the need for a plastic or vinyl liner and the bathroom floor does not get wet. It does require a bit of special treatment. It has to drip inside the tub for a bit and then I hang it ouside the tub to dry. Its always dry by evening after my morning shower. If there were more than one person using the shower, that might present a problem since I know that I wouldnt enjoy using an already wet shower curtain. But, blissfully, I live alone and this shower curtain is soft and gentle and a lovely addition to my bathroom.
