Cotton Fabric Shower Curtain
This curtain won't billow towards the shower spray like lightweight plastic liners do.
While this is a practical and natural alternative to plastic shower curtains, natural cotton still does require care. Your shower curtain will need to be washed - perhaps weekly if used daily. When washing the shower curtain, set washing machine to gentle and cold and hang to dry to minimize shrinkage. The hotter the water, the more it will shrink. Drying in a machine is not recommended, as this could lead to excess shrinkage. If you are going to use a dryer, set it on low heat and leave in for a very short period of time before hang drying it.

This is truly an amazing thing. I've had my cotton shower curtain for over 4 years now and it's still in perfect condition... no mold or mildew, no rips or tears . . . okay - so it's a little shorter. but it stretches after the next shower! I live in a low humidity environment and I wash and dry mine about once a month. We have good ventilation as well. But when our bathroom had zero ventilation we washed it every couple of weeks and that worked out great! I love my shower curtain even when we have multiple showerers a day - never had a problem. This cotton duck shower curtain is a splendid item. Im very happy with it. Many people say that they want to simplify their lives. Well, this is a good small place to start. The curtain eliminates the need for a plastic or vinyl liner and the bathroom floor does not get wet. It does require a bit of special treatment. It has to drip inside the tub for a bit and then I hang it ouside the tub to dry. Its always dry by evening after my morning shower. If there were more than one person using the shower, that might present a problem since I know that I wouldnt enjoy using an already wet shower curtain. But, blissfully, I live alone and this shower curtain is soft and gentle and a lovely addition to my bathroom. Marly H
