There's nothing like a warm, soft, fresh tortilla to make all your Mexican culinary creations taste even better. Now you can make tortillas at home and shape them with our cast aluminum tortilla press.

So easy to use - Check out this step by step guide to using the Norpro tortilla press.

Simply prepare your favorite tortilla recipe and roll into a dough ball. Break off pieces of dough from the main dough ball and roll them into 1-1/2-inch balls.

Note: Before using the tortilla press, make sure you place a piece of heavy plastic wrap or wax paper (a heavy-duty freezer type bag cut in half also works nicely and can be reused - nice) - makes it much easier to remove tortillas after they're pressed.

Place one of the 1-1/2 inch tortilla dough balls about 1 inch off-center of the tortilla press and cover it with another piece of heavy plastic wrap.

Bring down the top of the tortilla press and push the handle down. Open the press and carefully remove the plastic wrap from the top of the tortilla dough. Slide your hand under the tortilla and flip it over onto your other hand. Doing so makes it easier to remove the plastic wrap. Repeat the process until you have made tortillas from all of the dough.

Clean-up is a snap with the Norpro Tortilla Press - simply wash with soap and water or toss it in the dishwasher and you'll be ready to make more homemade tortillas tomorrow!

Makes a 6" tortilla.
