| I've said it before and I'll say it again, these traps are incredible. I have caught at least 20 mice at this point with them. In fact, I caught 3 last night in two traps! I put them in the truck and take them a couple miles down the road to a field. Don't have the heart to kill them.
Tootsie Rolls are the perfect bait. Never fails.

I love this trap! I've had smaller and less expensive humane traps, but getting the mice out of them was a challenge. These work like a charm! I did discover, however, that a very small mouse, that's light may not cause the door to trip shut. (I ended up feeding him peanuts two nights.) No worries, though, just put something compact and heavy in the trap before setting it, and it will add enough weight to cause the additional weight of the little guy to trip the door. For lack of a better option at the moment, I used a AA battery. A small dense rock would probably work too. Jane G. These traps work amazingly well!
After trying to catch mice with a different brand of humane mouse trap, and having them escape out time and again, we were getting desperate. My husband, who is an engineer, even tried to rig several devices up. When we heard what sounded like a mouse party in our walls, we finally sent away for two of the Smart Mouse Traps. Within a few days, we caught all 13 of them, including two little babies at once! They are now all relocated and happily living in a huge state park. This really is a "better mouse trap". Thanks.
I typically don't write reviews or comments about products, but this product is fantastic!! I just got my Smart Mouse Trap in the mail today and I loaded it with a cracker and peanut butter! I put the trap into the garage and 2 hours later I had an adorable little mouse (one that I had been trying unsuccessfully to trap for a year with other live traps). He is now free in the park, no longer in my garage thanks to this fantastic product!

These things rock! I bought two about a week or so ago. The first night or two he evaded me and stole my bait, but then my warehouse warmed up and made my bait stick instead after sitting all day. What's my bait you ask? Forget peanut butter - too messy . Mice have a sweet tooth. Tootsie Rolls! Put one in there and if you've got a mouse he's going to find it!
Anyway, thanks. Caught a second one last night and both critters (cute as can be) were released back into the field.
