Recycled Telephone Wire Bowl Mini

Handmade by the Ilala weavers in South Africa, this handy little bowl is made with recycled telephone wire. Use for paper clips, candy, hair clips, or a little of this and a little of that. The uses are endless.

Each bowl is handwoven - designs and colors vary widely so please allow us to choose one for you.

These weavers work with Global Crafts - a member of the Fair Trade Federation who ensure the weavers are paid fair wages for their work. This allows the craftsman to provide food, clothing and education to their families as well as helping to better the communities in which they live.

Holding one of these little bowls in your hand you'll realize the beauty and uniqueness of a utilitarian piece made by people -not machines. This is definitely a good thing.
