These white rimmed Serving Bowls are hand thrown and hand painted.

Modeled after the antique quince bowls of Portugal (quince is a fruit that looks like a cross between an apple and a lumpy pear), these serving bowls are sure to start conversations at the table.

You'll find a million uses for these great serving bowls.

Use them in the kitchen for food prep, on the table as serving pieces or put them on display as a centerpiece (quince fruit anyone?) No matter how you use them, they're dishwasher safe so clean-up's a snap!

Our Serving Bowls are made from environmentally friendly terracotta.

When no longer in use, terracotta breaks down and returns to the earth from which it came. Our Serving Bowls are also lead-free.

The hand painted serving bowls are made in a family studio.

This Portuguese ceramic baking dish set is from the Alentejo region, which is close to the Spanish border. The clay is native to the region and readily available. Everything is hand-thrown and hand-painted.
