Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus is best known for its ability in helping to treat respiratory ailments.

A generally safe essential oil, its popular uses include adding to baths, lotions, steam treatments and massage both in times of cold and flu as well as for athletes.

Eucalyptus essential oil is uplifting, refreshing and has a "cooling" emotional effect.

It also helps to clear the mind. Steam distilled our 100% pure eucalyptus essential oil is made from the leaves and mature branches of the eucalyptus tree.

Suggested uses for eucalytpus essential oil:

Of course, refer to a licensed, clinical aromatherapist for any medical use of this oil, but it can be safely used in the following ways to help alleviate congestion, sinus issues and other minor respiratory ailments. If problems are serious, persist or get worse, consult your physician. (note: not for use on infants)

Bath: Adults place 5-7 drops in a tub of warm water and soak for 20 minutes. For children use 1-2 drops.

Steam treatment: Over a bowl of hot (not boiling) water, add 3-5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil, place a towel over the head, close eyes and inhale deeply

Diffuse: Place 5-7 drops of eucalyptus essential oil in your favorite diffuser and enjoy the fresh, clean scent throughout the room

Massage: Mix 4-5 drops of essential oil into a small bottle of massage oil and use on chest and back.
